F3B101C: Management strategy for mobile phone operators

Presentation

Through a simulation exercise based on the mobile phone market students improve their knowledge of competition mechanisms and the repercussions in terms of marketing, managerial and financial decisions.
Imaginary firms are created by several groups of students. They confront each other in the telecoms market by determining their own strategy and offers.
Questions of innovation and market regulation are evoked bearing in mind the arrival of 3G and virtual operators (MVNO)
