Signal processing is a branch of electrical engineering that models and analyzes data representations of physical events.
This course consists of two main parts:
1. Deterministic signal processing: this part discusses the analysis and representation of deterministic signals and systems.
2. Statistical signal processing: this part gives an overview of the description, modeling, and processing of random signals.
Topics covered in the course include Fourier transform, linear filtering, analog to digital conversion, random processes, etc.
