F2R202: Software-Defined Networking

Presentation

This course module presents several technologies and architectures for home networks and high-speed access networks (passive optical networks (PON) and fiber-to-the-home (FTTH), powerline carrier networks (PLC)), as well as an overview of the incoming evolutions and issues in home networking. Besides, new network architectures, like delay-tolerant networks (DTN) and emergency satellite networks, are also introduced.
