F2R401A: Network architectures for multimedia

Whether mobile of fixed, operators insist on the added value aspect to improve market share. The co-habitation of existing protocols and the diversity of service imposes the need to reflect on the system architecture. Moreover, some mechanisms which initially had difficulty penetrating the market have become popular thanks to the problem of multimedia content and have been added to the existing structure. The aim of this module is to study network architecture which enables these new services to operate, concentrating on multimedia services.
