F2B202B: Modelling of business process and workflow

Many applicaations and agents concord within an information system (IS). Significant engineering projects are adapted in order to improve the company value chain and master interoperability and the circulation of information flows. These projects define the orchestration of flows (data and controls) between applications and agents. They integrate or can be integrated within software paltforms.

First, the business process is studied within the framework of business information systems. basic concepts for modelling are covered. Elements of UML notation are used as a method for a case study.

Second, the course focuses specifically on the bases and uses of workflow (eg modelling, analyses, management) while examining current associated technologies.
