This unit provides a solid technical background on the various techniques that are involved in the operation of a telecommunication system. It covers communication and networking aspects. While the examples often refer to space systems, it is also applicable to terrestrial systems.
 
Objectifs pédagogiques :
  • To be able to evaluate the performance of individual blocks of a telecommunication system
  • To be able to use and understand the technical basic blocks composing a telecommunication system
  • To be able to acquire through self study and/or experimental work an in depth understanding of the intrisics of a given technique
